As the series' title suggests, some of the characters struggle with behavior and mental health. Lee Maguire likes to dig deep, showing the reader how the characters think as well as Bryce's thought process and analysis as a psychotherapist. The book is definitely unique in that aspect.

This is a nail-biting psychological thriller with intense scenes. There were points in the story where I gasped out loud. Not a dull moment to be had in this one. (Rumspringa)
